About the Yarnbox You Will Receive

How much yarn comes in each box?
Lots! Actually it depends on the vendor and the fiber they supply. Every Yarnbox will be filled with enough product to offer a substantial savings over purchasing retail.

In addition, each box will contain exclusive discounts from great knitting and crochet designers as well as a message from the curator explaining why we chose the materials you have received.
What does a bimonthly subscription mean?
If you purchase a bimonthly plan, you will receive one Yarnbox ever other month. You will be billed the membership fee one time every two months.
When does Yarnbox ship each month? When is the next ship date?
Yarnbox Classic ships on the 15th of each month. The next box will ship on July 15th.
Yarnbox Socks ships on the 1st of each month. The next box will ship on July 1st.
Yarnbox Luxe ships one time every three months. The next box will ship on September 1st.

Billing

How much does Yarnbox cost?

Is that US Dollars?
Yes, all pricing on the website is in US dollars.
Does the subscription renew automatically?
Yes, when you subscribe to Yarnbox your subscription will automatically renew until you tell us to stop. Cancelling is easy, simply log on to your account page, click VIEW next to your subscription and cancel at the bottom.
If I request a three or six month membership, do I pay each month or all at once?
For these two memberships you pay the full purchase price at checkout. In exchange for paying the full price at checkout you get a great discount. You will receive one Yarnbox each month for the time period you select.
If I request a monthly membership, do I pay each month?
Yes, for the monthly subscription you pay for the first month at the time of your purchase. After that, you pay for each subsequent box on the first of each month for Classic and the fifteenth of each month for all other subscriptions until you cancel your subscription.
Can I cancel my monthly subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Simply log on to your account and click on subscription status and follow the prompts. You will still receive any Yarnboxes that you have paid for.
I live outside the United States. Can I subscribe to Yarnbox?
Yes! We ship anywhere in the world. Shpping fees vary depending on country.
Can I return my Yarnbox?
Unfortunately, no. Yarnbox is a subscription service where you receive surprise yarns every month. We would go out of business pretty quickly if subscribers could return yarns they didn't absolutely love. What is Yarnbox's policy on discrimination?
Yarnbox is a non-discriminatory company. We simply desire to provide high quality yarns and fibers to our members. We will not value or treat any person or group differently based on their group, category, class or belief.

Yarnbox will not monitor the labels of each and every yarn we provide. To choose a yarn by the words on the label as opposed to the quality of the fiber or the skill of the dyer would be discrimination. As a point of fact, we don't see the labels of many yarns before we purchase them. To warn subscribers they may have potential sensitivities to the age, disability, national origin, race, color, creed, religion, or sex of our wholesale providers and their beliefs would be exhaustive and beyond the scope of our mission as a company.

Gifts

If I buy a gift, do I pay each month or all at once?
For a gift, you pay for the entire gift package at once during your checkout. Your gift recipient will receive a Yarnbox each month for the period you choose for them.
Can I cancel my gift purchase before the gift period ends?
No, gift purchases are final for the gift period you select. However, you can transfer a gift to another person. If there's any need to change the recipient of a gift, please login to your account and update the shipping address from your account page.
Do you send a card or an email to my gift recipient to tell them about the gift before they receive it?
Yes, if you wish we will send a nice gift email to your gift recipient. During checkout, we'll ask you for your recipient's email address.
What if I don't know which options to pick for my recipient? What if I choose the wrong one?
If you don't know what options to select for your gift, we recommend that you let us decide by choosing to accept all. If your gift recipient wants different options, they can contact us here and change it for future Yarnboxes: team@yarnbox.com

Shipping

Can I get faster shipping?
US customers can upgrade to USPS Priority shipping for any subscription type. Priority shipping will begin after your next billing date and arrive in 2-3 days.
How can I check on my orders?
You can always view current and past orders through your account page on Yarnbox. After signing in with your email address and password, you'll find an Account link on the top of the page.
How do I report a problem with my order?
